Setup Steps
Step 1: Initial Installation
- ASK4 Solutions will initiate the installation process.
- You may see a notification that ESET has started installing.
Step 2: Handling Pop-Ups
- Once the main application is installed, you may encounter two pop-ups.
- Follow the next steps to ensure ESET works fully.
Step 3: System Extension Blocked
- On the System Extension Blocked notification:
- Click the Open System Settings button.
- Locate the section that says Some system software requires your attention.
- Click Details.
Step 4: Enable System Extensions
- Toggle on all ESET-related items in the list.
- If prompted with a pop-up, click Allow.
Step 5: Grant Full Disk Access
- A notification will appear requesting Full Disk Access for ESET.
- Click Open System Preferences to navigate to Privacy & Security.
- Scroll down to Full Disk Access and click on it.
- Toggle on all ESET applications, except ESET Management Agent.
- When toggling on ESET Device Control, click Quit & Reopen if prompted.
Step 6: Verify Installation
- ESET should now be fully installed without any issues.
- If ESET states it is not activated, this will be resolved automatically when the software receives a license from the server.
Step 7: Confirm Installation
- Look for the ESET logo in the top-right corner of your screen.
- Open ESET to confirm it appears fully operational.
