This guide explains how to connect to your company’s 3CX phone system using the available 3CX softphone apps.

3CX Welcome Email
- Before setting up your softphone app, ensure you have received the Welcome to 3CX! email.
- This email includes:
- Your Username (extension number).
- Your Password.
- A QR Code for mobile app configuration.
- Links to download the app installers for iOS, Android, Windows, and Mac.
- If you have not received this email, contact ASK4 Solutions to have it resent.
Mobile Apps
Android
- Open the Google Play Store on your Android phone.
- Search for 3CX Android App.
- Install the app named 3CX Android App – Free Calls via your Extension.
- Once installed, open the app and select Scan QR Code.
- Use the QR code from your 3CX welcome email to configure the app.
iOS
- Open the Apple App Store on your iOS device.
- Search for 3CX.
- Install the 3CX app.
- Once installed, open the app and select Scan QR Code.
- Use the QR code from your 3CX welcome email to configure the app.
Windows App
Installing the Windows App
- Use the Windows link provided in your 3CX welcome email to download the installer.
- Run the installer on your PC.
- Administrator permissions may be required. Contact ASK4 Solutions for assistance if needed.
Configuring the 3CX Phone for Windows App
- Download the .3cxconfig file from your 3CX welcome email.
- Open the 3CX Phone for Windows app on your PC.
- Drag and drop the .3cxconfig file into the open app to configure it.
