Setup Steps
Installing the App
- Download the Intune Company Portal app by Microsoft from the Google Play Store.
Opening the App
- Launch the Company Portal app and tap Sign In.
Adding Your Company Account
- If your device has existing email accounts, the app will display these:
- Select your company email account if listed.
- If not listed, add a new account using your company email address and password.
Beginning Setup
- Tap Begin to start the setup process.
Review Permissions
- The app will show what it can and cannot do to your device.
- Tap Continue to proceed.
Accept Terms
- Tap Accept & Continue to confirm and begin configuring the work profile.
Configuring the Work Profile
- The device will configure a separate Work Profile for company data and apps.
- Once completed, tap Continue to activate the profile and apply necessary settings.
Post-Setup
Device Registration
- Wait for the device to register. Once completed, tap Done.
Device Compliance
- Navigate to the Devices tab to view compliance status for all registered devices.
- Depending on company policies, you may need to:
- Enable device encryption.
- Set up a PIN for device access.
Using the Work Profile
Separate Work Profile
- A separate Work Profile will appear alongside your personal profile in the app menu.
- Work Profile apps are marked with a blue suitcase icon.
Installing Apps
- For personal devices:
- Use the Work Profile Play Store to install company-approved apps.
- For company-owned devices:
- ASK4 IT Solutions can automatically deploy company apps to your Work Profile.
- Contact ASK4 IT Solutions to request additional apps if needed.
